Standard Tems & Conditions of Sale

These terms apply exclusively to online sales of Klein Nektar products, including wine, olive oil, and related goods. They do not apply to accommodation bookings, in-person sales, or any other services offered by Klein Nektar.

No wine products will be sold to anyone under the age of 18 (eighteen) years.  Should you wish to purchase any wine products on the website, you will be required to confirm that you are over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, and in addition, any person receiving delivery of such wine products may be required to show identification proving that he or she is of the applicable legal age. Purchases made from the website require registration by completing the information section, providing personal details, contact details, credit/payment card details and delivery address, which address must be located within a delivery area in the Western Cape.

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is out of stock, Klein Nektar will inform you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative, refund, or back-order option.

Klein Nektar reserves the right to

1. refuse or accept any order without giving any reasons; and/or

2. cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate

All prices listed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable. Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed orders will not be affected by subsequent price adjustments.

Payment may be made via EFT, Visa, or MasterCard. Card transactions will be acquired for Klein Nektar via the iK Pay Payment Gateway, operated by iKhokha (Pty) Ltd, an approved payment facilitator in South Africa. iK Pay uses industry-standard encryption and SSL security to protect sensitive payment data. All transactions are processed in compliance with PCI DSS standards to safeguard cardholder information.

No card details are stored, processed, or transmitted by Klein Nektar Wine & Olive Estate. All payment information is entered directly on iK Pay’s secure platform. You may visit www.ikhokha.com to view iKhokha’s security and compliance framework.

Orders are processed and dispatched within 3–5 working days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. Delivery times may vary based on location. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout. Klein Nektar is not responsible for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond its control.

Should a customer whishes to collect from the warehouse and or arrange his / her own transport for collection at the warehouse, Klein Nektar shall not be liable for any costs or losses incurred by reason of any act and or omission by any person.

We take great care to ensure that products reach you in perfect condition. If you receive damaged or incorrect items, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. Refunds or replacements will be processed after inspection and verification. Due to the nature of our products, opened bottles or used items cannot be returned unless defective.

Alcohol may only be purchased and accepted by persons aged 18 years or older. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet the legal drinking age. Klein Nektar supports the responsible consumption of alcohol.

Klein Nektar Wine & Olive Estate values your privacy and complies fully with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal information collected during online transactions (such as your name, contact details, and address) is used solely for order processing, delivery, and communication purposes.

All payment information is securely handled by iK Pay and never stored or accessed by Klein Nektar. We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting sloharvest@kleinnektar.co.za.

Klein Nektar Wine & Olive Estate will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Klein Nektar Wine & Olive Estate reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised version will be posted on the website and will apply to all transactions thereafter.
